I peeked at Freeperville they follow the leader. Morans
Some ass on their posted a thread that he was on here and had statements of what was being said on here. I don't remember seeing any of the names he used on here. Very sad. I refuse to sign up just to tell him off. Anyone else got the stomache.

8. I signed up a few weeks ago on their stupid site.
No wonder they like DU so much. We are way to easy to figure out. I can barely make heads or tails of their postings or format. Content is baseless and just plain dumb.
I felt DIRTY and ill after signing up. Needed a shower.

3. Sorry I can't help you. I can't stomach the spelling and grammatical
errors, nor can I take the complete lack of wit in any of their "funny" cartoons. You'll have to find someone stronger than me.

5. And just since you poked fun at grammar errors....
It is not "stronger than me" but rather "stronger than I (am)"

Sorry just couldn't resist

13. At least my sentence was complete. Have you ever tried to
read a freeper's sentence with half the words omitted? I also know the little button in the bottom left hand corner is used for checking the spelling of my words. Did you know "freeper" isn't a real word?

22. You can go either way these days
Language changes according to use.

I'm waiting for "alot" (as one word) to be added to the lexicon; people like to use it that way so why not?

7. I don't think freepers have a sense of humor
I've read plenty of their posts, and it's all name calling and belly aching about their "enemy",meaning us. I have never read any funny posts there like we have here. They are filled with too much hate to laugh about anything. Oh wait....I take that back. They do laugh. When it's making fun of other people's looks. They are all losers. Sorry, hate filled arrogant losers.

16.  their hate and other Republicans hate is why I support Kerry stronger
Being a youth and still new to the election process it was watching what all the boards and forums do that helped me choice and feel confident about John Kerry. I looked at Republicans and all I saw was them saying angry and hateful stuff. I looked at democratic underground and Kerry/Edwards forum to see that the democrats were allowing people the ability to choice. Nobody was forced to agree and people did question things; but it was this freedom to question the party and leaders of the party that made me feel strong.

I'm voting for Kerry because he proved that he can handle the pressure of command. H e can handle those idiots over there. I also like that with Kerry you don't have to sign a blood oath in order to be a member of the secret society.

33. Good for you!
It's so much better to be able to discuss things and have different opinons without getting called "un-American",un-patriotic,treasonous,and all the rest of the gutter names freepers like to call people who disagree with them.Their hatred is contagious....it can cause a person to hate them for the hatred THEY spew out. I would much rather like and care about other people, but boy, those people sure can make you turn 180% when you read their posts. That's why I like it here.....there are so many posts that are soooo funny you can't help but laugh. I'll take laughter over being angry and hateful any day. I do slip though and express myself when it comes to rightwingnuts...but it's so hard to control. Welcome to DU and I hope you stay here amongst us Kerry supporters. :hi:

6. There is no point
You stand a better chance going into a Walmart to try and convince everyone to buy higher-priced local merchandise simply because its being sold by a locally-owned retailer....

Or maybe going to a pro-life rally and trying to convince them that life includes people on death row, animals, and other sentient beings...

No, it will do no good and hence my statement.. there is no point in trying.

Just my 2cents

things they say and their format impossible to navigate. I see very little response to any threads. I find it very telling.

23. They manufacture the Kool-Aid! Pathetic little cowards, living in fear.
If they weren't too scared to live their own lives, maybe they'd realize that b*sh doesn't give a fuck about them. But they're too busy being afraid to think.

Kind of like those "Ugliest Dog" contests.
The rules are that you have to choose a freaker and post examples of why they should win.

28. i've been over a couple of times, expecting it to be funny
and to get myself all riled up over what they say.

i wound up feeling sorry for them. it's sad to think there are people that narrowminded, that blind, and that mean-spirited.

on a positive note, it helps me remember whey i don't do business with republicans, don't socialize with them, and don't let over in traffic people with republican stickers on their cars. :-)
