Okay, my panicking is over. He's now doing a much better job. Sorry for being a nancy boy...at least my nails have never been manicured. Kerry is getting a bit pedantic and Bush is looking better with each question.

Looks to me that Lehrer and Kerry had a pow wow last night.
I've never seen questions timed so much against one person.
Probably had a pow wow with Rather and the rest too. One of their last chances to influence this election and stick it to the pajama people.

That's why Bush should have been pickier about who he agreed to have as moderator. The rest are just as liberal as Leherer.

I would like to predict what Laura Ingraham's "The Big Lie" will be tomorrow.........
I think why Bush sounds frustrated, what is at stake is
life and death and when an a--hole like Kerry lies and twist facts and gives phony examples is enough to make an
honest person like Bush search for their words as it is just unbelieveable.

Yes...and Kerry's shirt has a blusih tint, while W's has a pinkish one....both are wearing WHITE shirts. That tells you exactly what C-Span is doing with the colorizing.
You know, my husband is really making me depressed. He is saying Bush is losing this debate.
Settle down all you freepers! Kerry is a policy wonk who has studied debating all his life. Bush is a decent man who is doing right! Even if Kerry wins this slick debate by some measures, Bush will be reelected. As Dan R. used to say"courage"

This seems like the questions were asked before the debate.

I don't think W is doing well at all. I know he's not a smooth talker, but he's way on the defensive and that's because Leher isn't asking anything tough for Kerry to have to defend.

I totally agree. If Bush says "it's hard work..there's a lot of good people out there working hard...." I'm going to scream.

He is definitely not winning this debate.
I'm afraid you're right. Bush is trying to remember talking points instead of sitting back, relaxing, and just pointing out all the stuff he knows.
Kerry is very good. He's got command of the facts. Bush is speaking in general platitudes.
I don't like this. Bush is doing just about as poorly as he possibly could do.

>BUsh is just saying the same talking points.
I agree. I had to shut it off for fear of rubbing my face in the floor in frustration. Bush used a 30 second rebuttal to say the same thing he said four times already. Word for word. And even stuttered and stumbled while saying it.
ARGH, here goes the polls up for Kerry. I love Bush, but I don't think he's done well with this. People have gotten bored and moved on to CSI reruns or something on cable by now.
