Republicans happy with what's turning out!!!

They are gleeful that Dean looks like he will win the nomination. With his statements against the war in Iraq, the whole Hamas thing, his mixing of Jesus and gay marriage thing, the confederate flag statement and the lack of safeguards at the Vermont nuclear facility they figure he'll last as long as a Britney Spears wedding vow in the general race. Clark? They'll point out his past support of Bush (why trade one military industrial complex guy with experience for one without?) and the whole Kosovo thing and he'll be toast.

Strange thing is, I've been visiting Republican sites and they seem to actually like Lieberman! They wouldn't vote for him but this shows Lieberman has more of a popular appeal with moderates/Republican swing voters.

My prediction is that the topic of this discussion one year from now will be "Why we lost the 2004 election" and there will be those from the Lieberman camp there to say "I told you so!" if either Clark or Dean get the nomination.

Oh well, since we're here - has anyone ever tried to count how many bottom teeth Joe has while he's speaking? I would swear there's about 40 of them!

I'm so disgusted by him I can't even listen to him anymore so I try to count his teeth in between fantasizing that he's the love child of Terrance (or Philip) from the Southpark cartoon and a dried apple head. But, that doesn't explain all those damned tiny teeth.

If the Democrats lose the White House in 04, then the human race is finished, and those who complain will be herded into "First-Amendment-Camps."

Global warming is a much bigger threat than Bush's boogy-man "terrorism." Corporate-pollution induced "weather" will convert Earth into a dead planet within fifty years.

Democracy in America has evolved into a military-industrial "brib-ocracy," and a 'bribe-ocratic' government can only speed the destruction of all our finite resources.

American politics are entirely run by bribery. The last congress was 99 percent re-elected. 'Democracy' in America has devolved into nothing but a smoke-screen for fascism.

Bush picks up millions in campaign-bribes every time he steps off his helocopter. The American political system is so corrupt that soon it will pollute and kill off the entire planet.

why don't the Dems ALSO nominate George W. Bush to be our candidate, then we'd be assured of having support across the whole political spectrum!!

And thinking DUers aren't, by about 99 percent, able to recognize it when you do it or the Repubs try to spin the Dem primary using the same tactic? With the exception of Mr. Lieberman, any of the major Dem candidates can show up the present administration for its arrogant, posturing, war-mongering, economy destroying practises. I would like to see all of those primary candidates who do NOT get the nomination serve in the next president's Cabinet, because with the desperate shape our economy/government infrastructure is in, the US will need our very best and brightest to stem the hemorraging of our tax dollars to wars of foreign domination and corporate welfare, and salvage our society.
