Republican Ralph Nader to campaign for Bush in swing states.
Looks like the Repukes are in trouble: They've ordered their corporate whore Ralph Nader to campaign in swing states.

By THEO EMERY, Associated Press Writer

2. The title is appropriate. Calls Nader on what he's turned into.

6. oh come on, at least be honest in your distain....
He's campaigning for himself, not for either major party. You're well aware of this, and that's why your thread title is deliberately misleading.

Here's one for you: "Kerry congratulates Bush for choosing war with Iraq." Equally false, but equally attention grabbing. Making up false headlines like that is rather childish, IMO.

7. Nonsense. You are being misleading.
He is campaigning for the Republicans who fund him with corpoate money.

That George W. Bush says his logging plan for clear cutting forests is a "Healthy forest initiative" does not mean that it is good for forests. That Ralph Nader, a perpetual liar, - back in 1977 he gave an interview saying he made less than $5000/year at the same time he was buying an expensive townhouse in Washington - says he is "not campaigning for a major party" does not mean that he is NOT campaigning from the Republican Party. Of course he is.

He is working for the Republicans and is paid by the Republicans.

Anyone who claims otherwise is extremely niave and/or deluded.

5. Nader is now officially a sad clown who's severed himself from his legacy..
Edited on Sun Oct-03-04 08:43 PM by rezmutt
All the good he's done has been obscured for the destructive, self-centered nut-casing he's committed in the last five years.

The Nader name is no longer synonymous with "working for the greater good." In fact, it now means exactly the opposite.

9. Megalomania running amok
Nader said today, "The assumption of all these questions is that I take more votes away from Kerry than Bush. Part of that is in Kerry's hands. He once said he wants to take away my votes by taking away my issues: I'm delivering it to him on a silver platter. He's responsible for that problem."

10. Nader is going to campaign more because Kerry is pulling ahead!
Edited on Sun Oct-03-04 11:11 PM by Democat
Think about what's happening - Nader is going to work harder for Bush because Kerry did so well in the debate.

Nader is a Republican - he is trying to defeat Kerry and get Bush elected.

Nader is working for the Republicans.

The headline is fine.

14. Nader is not a "third party candidate." He is a Republican.
Like all Republicans, he engages in "doublespeak," in this case by saying he is not a Republican. But he is a Republican.

Nader's fellow Republican George W. Bush says that burning more coal in plants with disabled emissions control systems is a "Clear Skies Initiative" but it is not.

Rove has ordered Nader into the swing states. He has obeyed because he has no integrity.

Once he had an illusion of integrity; but he has never actually HAD integrity. Never.

17. Nader is like those Republican moles who act independent
on focus groups and such (see idiots). He claims to not be beholden to any party, but he's a willing puppet of the right.
