How many vice-presidential debates have you seen |

and how much do you think it affects the election? I've seen Bentson/Quayle'88; Cheney/Lieberman 2000 and that's it. I've seen all the presidential debates since '88, but missed some of the vp debates. I definitely didn't want to miss Bentson/Quayle because of the deep respect I have for Bentson and the stupidity of Quayle--and I wasn't disappointed:D Bentson's famous quote was stellar!
I didn't see any vp debates during the years Clinton ran.
Tonight's a biggie with all that's riding on it. This one may make a difference in the outcome of the election, unlike the others.

I can't remember if I watched any during the 80 and 84. I was in grade school and could've cared less who was president and vice-president.
My first one was the pitiful Lieberman/Cheney debate.
on edit: corrected high school to grade school.

Since 1976--Mondale vs. Dole (Fritz won)Dole talked about "democrat wars" No VP debate in 1980 1984--Bush I vs. Ferarro (Bush I said he "kicked a little butt" but I thought Ferarro won). 1988--Bentsen vs. Quayle--easly Bentsen win "I knew Jack Kennedy..." 1992--Gore vs. Quayle--amazingly some in the media thought Quayle won probably becuz expectations were low. 1996--Gore vs. Kemp 2000--Lieberman vs. Cheney

6. I have seen them all, and this one is the most important |
|
because Cheney is NOT the Vice President, he is the President.
The Ferraro/Bush debate was very interesting, and I liked the Bentson/Quayle debate as well, but I didn't think they were that important in the overall scheme.

7. Correct me if I'm wrong . . . |
|
but isn't '84 debate the year where Bush Sr. completely lost his marbles and went off on a senseless rant? I remember him saying something like 'wail on, harvest moon'.

8. All of them except 1976 because |

I was living in England. But I did vote for JC. I don't remember any as important as tonight's vp debate. 2000 vp debate was a real dud.
