He asserted and distorted facts (I never suggested that there was a link between Iraq and 9/11), confused the issue (how dare you demean the contributions of the Iraquis!), avoiding the issue (it will take me more than 90 seconds to respond to the Haliburton , and was demeaning throughout .

The problem is that there is a segment of America that enjoys Bill O'Reilly's approach. So, if enjoy Bill O'Lielly, and many people do, then naturally you will think Cheney won because he was so overtly nasty, and some people construe overt aggressiveness as strength and conviction, rather than simply being a bully. On the other hand, if you find O'Lielly repugnant, you will think that Edwards won and that Cheney was an asshole. There really isn't a way to split the baby on this one.
