5. This is the effect of the shrub's meltdown in debate 1.
It also means Kerry wins the election if it were held today.

Just keep attacking, no let up.

Have to keep the shrub and Cheney on the ropes or knock them out.

6. Very good, but still way too close!
I will be much happier after the last debate and K/E shows 8-10 lead!

8. I don't trust the number from Quin
That's just too different from all the other polls, which pretty much have Pennsylvania as dead even. Ohio would be a nice surprise for sure, but Rasmussen has Bush at 48% and Kerry at 47% as of Oct. 3rd. That's better than it's been by a couple of points.

17. The previous Quinnipiac poll
Edited on Wed Oct-06-04 12:48 PM by lancdem
had Kerry up 3 in PA and that poll oversampled Repukes.

13. Have No Fear - It's Kerry In A Landslide....

Went to the Vote For Change concert in St. Paul MN last night. Unbelievable!

What I saw there, in addition to the most fantastic rock concert in history, is that people are pissed off and fired up! There will be record turnout in this election and the number of new, energized voters who show up to register a resounding "FUCK OFF!!!" to Bush and Cheney is going to go down in electoral history as one of the biggest surprise landslides in history!!!!

18. Wow. I thought Ohio was lost, hopeless, a goner. We're back in that fight
For a while it looked like we had a better shot at Virginia than Ohio. Now the universe is returning to normal. But dammit, Virginia woulda been sweet.

19. Those are the big three, right?
Those are the three of which Bush must win at least two to win the election, right?

20. Also, Missouri now tied, according to Survey USA likely voter poll
Edited on Wed Oct-06-04 12:57 PM by hatrack
Just one poll, but 49% Bush 47% Kerry encouraging, nonetheless.

On edit - "Dead Heat" might be a better description than tied.
