John Kerry coming to Elyria, Ohio Saturday for post-debate rally.,

ELYRIA -- Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry will appear at Lorain County Community College on Saturday morning, said Thomas Smith, the chairman of the Lorain County Democratic Party.

The campaign is touting the event as a ''post-debate rally,'' Kerry's first appearance following the second presidential debate, which is Friday night in St. Louis.

Smith said yesterday that after scouting several locations throughout the county, the campaign had settled on an 11 a.m. outdoor appearance near LCCC's Ewing Activity Center.

Wow, I am so excited. Not only is Kerry the first candidate to come to our area since Walter Mondale, but because it is the first speech after the debate, we are going to get national recognition. Thank you, John Kerry for putting my hometown on the map, for one day at least.
