I had to re-read this several times to absorb it. Well, I guess all those innocent iraqi women and children killed in indiscriminate bombings are so much dirt to be swept up.

It is bad in Iraq - I will admit that! BUT - What we are accomplishing in Iraq can be compared to spring cleaning. All year long you just shove things in cabinets to make the overall appearance of your house look nice and by spring time you have to really dig into those closets and cabinets and go through each and every thing before you can really get it "truly" clean. When your doing this (over the coarse of a weekend or whatever) you can actually make your house look far worse than it ever did all year long but the end results is that you aren't hiding the dirt anymore - it's truly gone!
My point is that for years in Iraq we just kept things "presentable", now we are doing that deep down cleaning that makes everything a mess! As long as we keep a leader with a plan, who supports out troops, we will get that "truly peaceful" Iraq we all want. We just have to get a little dirty first - unfortunately that does mean American soldiers dying for the cause but the cause is just and my prayers are with every soldier and every family member every day!
God Bless America.
