D*mn it Kerry Reframe the Issue
Kerry needs to reframe the war as unnecessary..

We needed a war to take out Sadam not to occupy and destroy Iraq.

After all Sadam Hussien was only one man. Surely the U.S. millitary could have taken out one bad guy.

Was it worth 200Billion 1060+ American lives and countless Iraqi lives plus pissin' off the whole world to take out one guy????

By reframing the war this way we can peel off some of those people who think it was worth the cost to take out Sadam and get them to consider that GW approached ousting Sadam in a stupid and costly way.

1. "Reframing"
would be a complete disaster. Might as well just go out campaigning with "FLIP! FLOP!" stamped on his forehead.

4. I don't agree
Why would he want to 'reframe' an issue he is winning on? * is on the defensive, all Kerry has to do is stay the course. * is about to fold like a house of cards.

6. No Bush has better #s on this
There ase still a lot of people who think it was worth it to get rid of Sadam... if we could make some of those people think W did it in a stupid way they could allow themselves to turn against W

5. I agree, but that would only invite more "waffling" comments
As an anti-war progressive, I have been very disappointed in Kerry's relationship with the second gulf war.

But, as much as I jumped up and down for joy at Kerry's remarks about ending the Vietnam war, I am afraid he has much reduced his degrees of freedom on Iraq.

At some day in the future we _will_ exit Iraq. Who will be the last person to die, I don't know. But I hope the summation of the deaths doesn't exceed 1050 by very much.
