I just got mine. Straight Democratic ticket, baby  :kick:
NOW: The next thing on the agenda....
- Xerox Copy EVERYTHING
-Take it to the post office tomorrow and send it CERTIFIED MAIL
Anyone else vote yet? How are you planning to (or how did you)protect your absentee vote?

4. Be Careful How Late You Send It Certified Mail |
|
You don't want anything to complicate delivery of the ballot. If you are cutting it close, drop off the absentee ballot at the precinct on election day. That's what we can do in California.

I'm going to hand deliver it to the office of the superviser or elections herself.

3. I've got it, and filled out most of it |

I'm still stuck on some of the state propositions. I can only read the Cal state voter's guide for 30 min a day or i'll go into a coma from boredom. Should get it done this weekend and get it sent out on monday. It's a good idea getting it all copied beforehand. Thanks!

8. Got it, voted straight Dem, mailed it---does a little spagetti sauce on |
|
the envelope disqualify it?? One thing I did notice. The return envelope was stamped with a stamp that had to have dried up 10 years ago. Could barely read the address. So I just wrote over it in pen so it could be readable. Of course my town is small enough that the mail person probably knows how I voted and could fill it in for me if there were problems. We kinda trust people around here.

9. OH, OH--REMEMBER TO SIGN IT |
|
that's how they have disqualified so many---you have to sign ON the envelope so they can match the signature.
