Anyone party with Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox?
Edited on Mon Apr-11-05 02:33 AM by Syrinx
One of Courteney Cox's high-profile "Friends" joined her in Birmingham this weekend for the baptism of her and husband David Arquette's 10-month-old daughter, Coco.

Jennifer Aniston was named one of Coco's godmothers during a "wonderful gathering" Saturday at St. Stephen's Episcopal, said the Rev. Doug Carpenter, who led the ceremony and had also married Cox and Arquette in San Francisco in 1999.

"It was a very happy occasion," Carpenter said of the baptism, which was witnessed by about 110 friends and family. "I reminded them of something I had said at their wedding, about Jesus saying that a light set on a hill cannot be hidden. The world was watching to see what kind of marriage they had, and now they'll be watching to see what kind of parents they are."

Aniston, who dined with Cox, Arquette and other family members at Highlands Bar & Grill Friday night, was the only high-profile friend of Cox's who attended Saturday's ceremony, Carpenter said.

Why would she name her daughter "Coco?"

9. How could you?!!
I would say my heart is breaking over the news that you are running around on me - with Hollywood starlets, no less!

BUT....

As I described in great detail in a previous post to this thread, I know who's the better catch between me and Courtney. Found that out 25 years ago. That's right, that's right - I took her on back then, and am not afraid of competition with her now. Bring it on, skinny rich girl!!

Sooooo, autorank, tell the truth ---- who's your main squeeze?

:dilemma:

6. Does summer camp count?
I went to the same summer camp, same term as Courtney Cox and either her sister or cousin, 25 years ago. I know the other Cox girl was in my cabin, and I honestly can't remember if Courtney was. I must have blocked it out - we weren't big buddies, as they were in the "cool" Mountain Brook jet set group. You know, the girls that at 10 years old were already stunning and always 100% put together in matching tennis outfits and pink-and-green sundresses. My crowd were the ones in cut-off shorts and Dixie Youth softball t-shirts.

But I do remember one thing very clearly - my best friend and I beat them all in the camp talent show that summer - we performed a sizzling hot dance we made up to the tune of the J. Giles Band's "Flamethrower".

I can't believe I just admitted that in public.

10. I wondered if she was rich growing up
Edited on Tue Apr-12-05 01:05 AM by Syrinx
I figured she was. Seems the ones to grow up to be rich movie and tv stars were wealthy from the beginning. Though I went to school with a girl that I think is something of a star (major or minor, I don't know) on Broadway. She came from fairly humble origins, I think. She was pretty nice; her brother wasn't -- and he's not a star. ;)

I bet there were a lot of startled folks at the Highlands Bar And Grill Friday night. And a lot of women disappointed that Brad Pitt wasn't with the party.
