I saw Pigs Flying in Huntsville Today

I usually go home for lunch and I listen to a right wing FM station out of Birmingham 101.1. It usually makes me want to scream because some of the most ignorant people in Bama call in but I listen to it because you should know the enemy and it helps me counter act right wing talking points. At noon, the hosts are Burt and Curt whom I mostly despise. However, today they actually (albeit low keyed) criticized * and talked about how Iraq is becoming another Vietnam. I swear I saw pigs taking off on Jordan Lane.

When I got back from lunch 4 cow-orkers were in the office--2 right wing and 2 on my side. I told them I saw flying pigs and the right wingers actually laughed (sheepishly) and then I told them about the DSM. They were not happy. I work on an Army base with a lot of Active Duty who were or about to be deployed. I can tell you that the Army is not happy with * or Rummy and even while they might give lip service to * he's not popular. The Civil Servants A(interesting title I've always thunk) hate Rummy.

How you manage to listen to those guys is beyond me but I guess keeping an ear on them is a good reason.

Buddy of mine a Marine reservist (1 tour in IraqNam already) works on the Arsenal and even his brainwashing the Marines do doesn't cover up what I see in his eyes when I mention *. Yeah Marines are still gung ho for war and all but this is starting to turn into a mess and even they can see it. The Army is always the first to know and show how they feel when shit turns sour tho and are a good barometer for overall morale....it right now it stinks. Btw my Marine buddy was a Edwards supporter....he couldn't bring himself to vote for Kerry tho but maybe Edwards might have tipped him that way he never said and I didn't ask. But I know he didn't vote for *.
