Dear Editor: Democrats! We need to start over, start from scratch so to speak. Our fortunes have not soared; they have plunged. A winning program we do not have. We need to bring over some ideas and tactics from the Republicans, which I know will help us immeasurably.

Hire some people like Carl Row, Wolfowitz, Bolder (the U.N. Dude), Tom Delay, James Baker, you get the idea.

Allow us, Democrats, to find some large companies to be enriched by the Iraq war. The GOP now has a monopoly on this.

It goes without saying that we need to hire Bush’s press spokesman, Old Moon Face.

1. Excellent and it should silence those DUers who are quick to criticize

we Democrats in Alabama.

There are excellent letters published weekly in Alabama's major papers.

There's a retired military guy named Carl Hess, from Ozark, that often has letters published in the Tuscaloosa and Birmingham papers (and maybe others), that really should have his own column. He writes some good stuff.

if the letter writer could spell.

The editors should have changed that but probably wanted to make him look stupid. Wouldn't surprise me if the letter is a fake, written by some Republican to make Democrats look illiterate.
