Thank you for contacting me. I always enjoy hearing from my constituents.

I supported the President's decision to go to Iraq, and, regardless of recent reports, I continue to believe that was the right decision.

I also believe that it is in our best national interest to promote order and stability in this volatile region of the world and to starve the intolerant forces of extremism and terror.

Our men and women in uniform have done an outstanding job in Iraq working to liberate the Iraqi people from Saddam Hussein's regime, and helping them begin the rebuilding process. I will continue to support our President and our troops as they promote democracy and peace throughout the Middle East.
