My fellow Dems in 'Bama:

It feels great to be posting on DU.com! I'll start out by saying that I am sixteen years old and I am moving to the left of our state and our backward beliefs each day. Alabama used to be a stronghold for the Democrats, as well as the rest of the southern states. I have dreams of one day being elected to public office in Alabama and having that nice, shiny (D) by my name. Please do all that you can to help me learn more about our political system and how to be and even BETTER Democrat. Thanks a million guys. :)
