TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- A fire destroyed a warehouse where Christian-themed clothing was manufactured and religious phone-banking was conducted, authorities said.

The blaze in the building owned by Multi Marketing Inc. began at about 11:40 p.m. Friday, said Eric Kehn, an agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Kehn said agents from a task force investigating a string of recent arsons that have damaged or destroyed 10 churches in rural Alabama were sent to the scene. But he said it was premature to speculate whether the warehouse fire had anything to do with the rural church fires.

On a more serious note, the fact that they are investigating this in relation to the church arsons is rather interesting....one has to wonder who is doing this, and why? Are the church arsons a "cover" to go after someone or something in particular? Sort of like the Beltway sniper, who really wanted to take out his ex-wife and get custody of his kids, so he killed all those other folks, hoping that when he got to her, she'd be viewed as just another random victim???
