y'all remember when Jesse Jackson won the Alabama primary?

I was thinking about that earlier.

I think it was 1988.

Now, I wouldn't really want him for president. (Unless it was Bush or him. Or a Republican or him.)

But I look back on that memory fondly. African-American Alabamians and liberal white Alabamians did that together.

And I was a small part of it. Maybe you were too.
