The BALDWIN COUNTY DEMOCRATS HQ is officially open!

It's in an old building on a corner of two busy highways in "downtown" Foley, Alabama.

GREAT visibility.
It was formerly "Larry's Shoe Repair" and what a pig sty.
Larry was NOT a very good housekeeper.

Working most of last Saturday, 8 or 10 of us cleaned it up (double-yuck, legions of dead roaches and eggs), fumigated and deloused the place, painted the interior, laid carpet, installed phones and a computer, hung a BIG "BALDWIN COUNTY DEMOCRATS" sign out front, and put various Democratic candidates' signs and banners inside and out.

It's tacky and it's cool; and it's OURS!
Until Nov. 7, anyway.

We rented it from the repug former (l-o-n-g time) mayor.
Our "negotiators" told him we could afford $300 a month and he said "Close enough".
repugs will do anything for money.
Even rent to Dems.
We are a blue pinpoint in a sea of red.
Take THAT, ya bastids!
