I work with the campaign for Barnes. He has been hitting the 42,323 square miles of Alabama for months. Unfortunately, the powers that be do not want the state to know Shelby has a contender. Media has squashed our publications, interviews and he is not being endorsed by a political party. He has been endorsed by all the unions and AFL-CIO, along with several other entities, but truly hopes to take it directly to the people. He is a man with viable crudentials that is truly working in the grassroots style. We need help to get the word out. He's been told not to run, to drop out and that he doesn't stand a chance. We are looking for volunteers to help spread the word. We have hundreds statewide already doing so, but challenges are making it difficult to get past the media. He truly is The People's Candidate. Will come and speak to anyone anytime. We are in nursing homes, VA hospitals, parks, schools, factories, and anywhere the working people can be. Fundraisers are not an affordable or profitable way to meet constituents. Barnes is a strong believer in Campaign Reform and therefore, trying hard to run this campaign without asking for much money. Infact, he successfully won the primaries on $600.00 Unfortunately, it's difficult not to get the word out, but it's also hard to ask 300,000 people unemployed to donate to a campaign over paying a power bill. With that being said, he is not a promoter of big business or contributions from entities of special interests. Not on any retainers, hasn't taken a dime from any big entities and believes the vote of the people cannot be bought or sold, nor can he. He is on Facebook, websites, and welcomes everyone to meet or even call him on the phone. He has designated his phone line at his law firm for direct calls to answer and take as many in a day as he can. This man truly is humbled by the privilege to possibly serve our state. He deserves a chance to prove his worth. 205-854-3703 www.williamgbarnes.com Please feel free to write, call or ask more about him. We need help to get the word out.
