In my opinion, it was a brilliant strategery for Diane to ask her one question to the Libertarian candidate instead of Don so she got a one-two punch in on him without him being able to respond. (It's only fair since he's refused to debate her.) And I nearly fell out of my chair when the libertarian candidate endorsed her there at the end - it was just the icing on the cake.
There were probably 40-50 of us with Benson signs in the KAKM parking lot and out into the street when Don drove up in his big black government car. Michael Carey said he hadn't seen such support for a candidate in all the years he's been doing the debate. Don tried to sneak in the back door, but we all ran around with our signs and made sure he knew we were there - as if he could have missed us all lining the street to the station. Ha.
I feel so good about Diane as a candidate. I really hope a lot of people were watching tonight.
I've got some work to do tonight, but I'll try to post some pictures for you tomorrow.
