4. Yeah, they said they gave Diane her time yesterday...

:shrug: which, as far as I know, isn't true. She was on KUDO yesterday, but I haven't heard anything about her being on KBYR. They're doing everything they can to make sure that Don doesn't have to deal with Diane directly. It makes me sick. I hated having to sit through a half hour of his bullshit only to learn that they wouldn't let Diane through. :mad:

I don't think I've ever turned into that station until you mentioned she'd be on 700 AM..

I recognized Ivan Moore's voice, but that other guy seemed to be short with the callers accussing them of hitting up the Congressman with prepared statements.

Dayum.

Was that a one time thing, or is that the new program Ivan was talking about? If so.. anyone know who the other guy is?

Are they running it like the Frost N' Fire shows that Jack and Aaron used to run?

Anyone know? Guess I should try and track down a website if they have one and maybe it will have that info?

6. Somebody McDonald

Larissa, the other guy was 'Citizen McDonald.' I didn't get the whole citizen thing but Moore and McDonald were calling each other by citizen. Some caller even referred to Don Young as Citizen Young!

The two citizens did seem to be talking over any callers they had determined were "libs" or "tree hugging environmentalists."

I think this is the show Aaron was talking about on KUDO sometime ago when pondering where Ivan Moore and his surveys went.

7. Obviously, Diane tried to get through

but they blocked her. It makes me sick the way Young refuses to deal with Diane head on - I guess he knows how much he would suffer by comparison. He is such an ignorant blowhard.

I think we can still win this thing. The poll posted in this morning's paper says Don has 43%, Diane 34%, but there is still that huge 15% undecided. They're the ones who are going to make the difference.

8. Diane and Don in ER?

Did I hear correctly that Diane and Don were both present at the ER Chamber of Commerce? I was driving and only half listening to the radio but swear I heard Don say something like, "She must love me b/c she is everywhere I go." Something smarmy as is his style. Was I dreaming?

Don and Diane were both on the Channel 2 News tonight and when John Tracy
asked Jason Moore about Don’s answer to our (Diane’s) current request for a debate, Jason reported that Don said that he had been approached by our campaign about debating, but stated that he had not been approached by any organization with the request of hosting a debate…soooooo

Diane has called John Tracy suggesting that KTUU host a debate for Monday
November 6, 2006. Sooooo….

We need your help once again to muster supporters and call upon John Tracy and tell them how all of Alaska wants this debate to happen….

How can Don refuse KTUU Channel 2’s offer to host a debate between Diane Benson and Don Young…

I think it's great that Diane is turning up more and more in the news and on TV. If we could get this debate the night before the election, it just might sway some of those 15% undecideds.

Imagine the headline:

BENSON SENDS YOUNG BACK TO HIS TRAILER IN FORT YUKON!!

(As if. Do you think he'll be leaving that fancy mansion in Virginia when he's "retired"? I doubt it.)
