Does anyone have any information on the right-wing radio host that released
the home phone numbers of the mccain/bush protest organizers?

Some right-wing radio host in Alaska. The organizers have been getting death threats.

1. The most famous(or infamous)right-wing radio show host based in Alaska is Dan Fagan
He has a radio and a frequent column in the formerly liberal Anchorage Daily News.

Do you think it was him?

2. Actually,
I think the radio host in question is Eddie Burke on KBYR. See his web site: http://www.kbyr.com/ebs/

3. Wouldn't surprise me
Burke's always been a mad dog.

And he'd be doing anything to compete with Fagan, so attention-getting behavior like that would be part of the thing.

6. Fagan actually does not care for the governor at all.
He's been writing negative columns about her ever since she was elected.

5. It was Eddie Burke
He is probably one of the dumbest guys to ever have a radio show. I think he did some work for a legislator or two in Juneau years ago, and has been sort of on the periphery of Republican politics in Anchorage since then. He has run for office and lost, and used to fill in for Fagan as sort of a novelty. He got a show at KFQD, but was fired for talking about oil companies in a negative way, at least that is his story, KFQD says his ratings sucked. KBYR picked him up since they didn't really have anything to lose ratings wise.

He is a proud Palinbot, and is one of the 2 shows in the state that she calls in to from time to time, the other being morning FM shock jocks Bob and Mark. I have only listened to a few minutes of his show since he left KFQD, but I'm sure it is the same hateful nonsense he spewed back then. He called the people attending the anti-Palin, not anti-McCain/Bush, rally "socialist, baby-killing maggots" before giving out the personal cell phone numbers of two of the organizers.

He also ran into a friend of mine who is a somewhat prominent liberal woman in Anchorage at the Judiciary Committee hearings on friday and told her that she "better wear a flak jacket" to the rally on Saturday.

Despite the threats from his moronic listners, and his call to action for Palin supporters to show up to the rally it was overwhelmingly anti-Palin. Around 1,500 on our side, and closer to 50 on theirs.
