6. Excellent! Next time I visit Arizona...
I will shop only at Basha's! Ultra Cool!

My solution? ------->

My message is--elect Democrats every 2 months---

Here's how we can paint all of Arizona and South Dakota Ultra-Blue! This will work for any state in the USA--do this in your state- start an UDO group!

After the election, I decided to change things. I decided we needed to have our own elections-- 6 times a year!

Check out UDO!

Wanna OutBLUE people in a Red County? Check out my Yahoo Group--

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sd_democrats_UDO /

Let's start a state wide UDO (Ultra Democratic organization)--

first elections December 2004!

(Anyone can join the Yahoo group)

Thanks!

7. Basha's
Sure isn't my first place to choose to shop (the one near my home had its in-store bank robbed 4 times in three months as of Dec. 2003), but I think I am going to make the change - this donation info is very compelling (except for the sporadic donations to Matt Salmon :puke: ).

How are they with respect to unions and other employee issues?

8. Basha's
I always shop there...........it's just about as close as the local Safeway. I have a couple of friends who work at Safeway and a couple of acquaintances who work at Basha's and Basha's wins hands down.
Our meat dept in this town is the best there is!

10. and back in 2002...
He gave the Arizona Democratic Party permission to put voter-registration canvassers in front of his stores whenever the party wanted. Not a lot of merchants will do that.

13. Crap, I have to drive to Maricopa now
Since they closed the one in Casa Grande. Like we needed another Food City. I miss Bashas in C.G. They always had my Very Vanilla Silk on hand and the cashiers always had a great attitude. Bring it back!

18. They own AJ's fine foods too.
Kinda the other end of the grocery spectrum. I love going to the one on Ray Rd. knowing that the high falutin Repugs from Chandler and Ahwatukee have no idea that they are buying their fancy wine and cheese from bigtime DEM supporters! I always see the "W" stickers on the big SUVs in the parking lot.

17. Here's a little atta boy story
Edited on Wed Jan-19-05 10:28 PM by lady lib
I told the check out clerk at my local Bashas in Mesa that I like to buy cage free eggs and was disappointed that they no longer carried them. She replied they were discontinued due to poor sales (if the Repugs don't care about the torture of Iraqis, you can sure as hell bet they're not gonna pay a few extra cents for misery free eggs - right? - that's me by the way - she didn't say that). Anyway, she said she would check with the manager for me. Well, wouldn't you know it? Two weeks later I went to buy eggs and...you guessed it... cage free were back on the shelf. Thanks for caring, Bashas!

Welcome to DU Jabberwocky!
:hi:

19. Basha's is about the only store I shop
actually almost daily. The people who work there are customer service orientated.

A few days before Thanksgiving I bought a fresh turkey, when I opened it did not look right, Bashas took it back, did not accept my receipt, just called someone to make sure I received a fresh turkey.

Another time I told the clerk that I bought something one day but it was not in my bag but did not feel like returning and could not prove it, so lost out. She told me the next time say something, they accept the word of their customer. They are very, very customer orientated.
