Protect access to contraception. Oppose HB 2541.

The Arizona House Health Committee is considering HB 2541 on Wednesday, February 2. HB 2541 would allow a pharmacy to refuse to fill a woman's prescription for birth control pills or the morning-after pill and does not require that the pharmacist provide a referral so that women have timely access to medically necessary prescriptions.

Incidentally, I received 3 replies to my emails; one in support, one against and one undecided.

The guy who was in favor had the nerve to write to me, "thank you for your support of this legislation," and continued on to explain his fundie point of view. His name is Richard Murphy. Obviously the guy doesn't even READ his mail! I did not write him in support of the legislation!!! Idiot! Typical repuke! He doesn't actually care what the people think! The fact that he didn't even read it pissed me off to no end. Arrogant jerk!

Here we go - they are chipping away at our freedoms. This ought to get interesting. I guess we can always go to Mexico for birth control pills.
