3. the big "don't know" people for the legislature skews it
the gov. seems to get more news coverage then them, so I think if the coverage were equal with the state senate both poll question answers would be alot different.

I remember the polls numbers from the Salmon/Napolitano race... it was something like Napolitano 47, Salmon 37, Undecided 7 and the rest third parties... the final poll numbers were something like Napolitano 47, Salmon 44.
