Is it me, or are the * ads finally relenting?? Not seeing nearly as many
lately. I've seen the positive Kerry ads. I think they are great. Especially pitted next to *'s desperate attack ads.

1. I noticed the trend too
Yeah I like them. They're pretty powerfull ads especially the one where one of his crew members at Vietnam basically said Kerry saved his life.

5. YES! I really like that one. It is a subtle reference to *'s WAR disaster
how incompetent he is about war while Kerry actually served and saved lives. I also like seeing Theresa and his daughter. It made him more real--not just a political candidate.

2. I've noticed that Bush's ads are all incredibly negative...
while Kerry's are very positive. Which way does America want to go?

3. BushCo announced they were cutting back the ad budget.
That was about a month ago. Right about now is when we should expect to see the effects, so it's no surprise you're seeing fewer ads.

4. oh thank god. all the * ads were getting to be too much.
major overkill like how a radio station will play a new song over and over until you want to scream bloody murder. that's just cruel and unusual punishment.

did they say when they expect to unleash the barrage again? (so i'll know to keep the TV off)

6. No, just that they were slashing about $40 million off the ad budget.

Who knows what they're planning to do with that money, but good riddance in any case.

8. Yeah, I haven't seen as many * bumper stickers lately, either
I have this image in my head of millions of previously brainwashed Americans rubbing their eyes, blinking awake as if from a long sleep. It's happening, folks..and about f'n time.
