We are planning a huge Phoenix Metro Loop Blog 6 people per overpass on a two day event! Volunteers check in here.

6. More volunteers obtained from this meeting. News cameras there,

however, I had my doubts as to coverage unless there was some outburst. It was a calm civilized event, therefore no coverage. LOL

7. Plan as it is shaping up so far:

Please don't feel that you have to do all events.
I will get flyers designed and printed ASAP so please distribute in the manner you see fit as far in advance as possible & Please consider putting something on your car on DSM weekend.
Friday 22nd evening 7 pm we will meet in the parking lot of the CO-OP in downtown Tempe, we will march to the beach park, this is perfectly legal provided we are peaceful and do not impede the flow of traffic, visibility will be high so please wear DSM related T shirts, (you can buy iron on letters at any craft store so make your own) bring a sign, and hopefully we can get enough flyers printed to distribute as we go!
On Saturday 23 morning we will meet at our designated overpasses at 8:00 am SHARP, hopefully with some new recruits from the previous night. -we will communicate via cell phones and work until around 10:00 am or as long as we can take the heat!
Sat evening we will do the MASSIVE protest/ candle light vigil, this will be the event we inform the media of and will be the biggest possible push for our agenda. Patriot's Park... Let's plan this one for 7 pm. that way we can get some rest before the event.

Very glad to hear this is being put together! I'd like to help get the word out for this event, but need more info. Who is organizing it? Is there a website or contact info? It isn't posted on:

10. Ok here's an update.

Move on is having a meeting tomorrow night at Burton Barr Library, conference Room B @ 6:30. Paint times will be decided for group painting, when and where. We are on for the 23rd of July at 8:00 a.m.
SHARP TO YOUR ASSIGNED OVERPASS! I am currently assigning overpasses if you want to volunteer, post and I will p.m. overpass, and which direction of traffic you will face. check in soon as I may need to start another thread here?

12. Overpasses

People might want to check the targeted overpasses in advance to be sure they have chain link and not the mesh enclosure. The signs can't be seen well through the mesh and most have the mesh.
