I got to work this morning and about 40 firemen from the Phoenix Fire Department were in the parking lot. They had arrived late last night with about 6 semi-trucks of supplies and equipment on their way to New Orleans. Just want to say "Thank You", and to let you know we are taking good care of them. The restaurant across the street is giving them free food and drinks, and all of the offices in my building are letting them use our internet and phone services if they need to. I can't say it enough, Thank you! Thank you! :bounce: Thank you! :loveya: BTW, they are in New Iberia Louisiana right now.

2. Phoenix PD and FD have been in the parks and at the libraries handing out

water and doing medical spot-checks on the homeless, too.

I work at Burton Barr, and I've seen the enormous difference this has made for those in need.

These guys are proudly CoP employees, not privately contracted, and I'm damn proud of every one of my muni employee brethren!
