5. Dr. Mike Newcomb said that there was no conspiracy in the purchase

of KXXT, no bad feelings with the old station. He said that on his morning show THIS morning on KPHX, 1480 Air America Phoenix!!

Randi Rhodes welcomed us back within minutes of beginning her show.

Anyone hear if Al Franken did too?

I'd fallen asleep due to a lack of sleep during the Dr. Mike show, and woke up part way through the Franken show.

Go AAR Phoenix!! It does have the same feel as the old station. With the announcements, the little sound blurbs.

6. My reception is really poor

I live in the NE Valley and can hardly hear it through all the static. :shrug:

7. It was good until about 7pm, after that the signal died.

This was in tempe, when I went back to work in Phoenix it was fine.

9. I live in N Phoenix and during the day it was okay. Right now I

can still get it but there is a lot of static.

But we were able to hear Mike Malloy clear thru till 10pm, except that there was some interference. Still, it was a lot worse for us when AAR was on 1010. We live in the NE valley too, and the signal would be overriden by some Mexican music to the point where you could hardly hear Mike Malloy.

14. I am from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was visiting Phoenix this past week....

Congratulations guys! You did it!
I was so excited to be able to hear the first few hours of your Dr Newcomb on Monday morning and all the other nationwide programming throughout the day.
I wore my "Free Speech - Take it Back" 'T' shirt in honor of your victory.

Now my problem is that I would like to repeat what you did, here, in Milwaukee, where the only talk in existence at the present is extreme right wingers both local and national.

I have talked to others here in town and there are several of us interested in getting to work on this immediately.

Any pointers?
