My family used to go to VMC when each ticket was $2 in the nosebleed section.
But I'm pretty damn disgusted yet again.
It's the damn coach's job to fire them up and he simply can't do it when the chips are down.
When they are hungry and intense they cannot be beaten.
I saw them nearly defeat the Celtics and the Bulls in the finals when both teams were nearly invincible. Both times they lost the finals when they were playing at absolutely the top of the game but were beaten by a slightly better team.
Not so this time--I'm tired of seeing them beat themselves.
I know there are more important things to be worried about but I'm crestfallen tonight. Siiiiigh...

Mark Cuban aint complaining about the refs anymore, thats for sure. I was at the game and the undermaned, injured Suns just ran out of steam. The refs were absolutely awful. Lots of ticky-tack foul calls against the shorthanded Suns and nothing getting called on the other end of the floor. Its not the Suns you should be upset with its the poor officiating in the NBA. There is absolutely no kind of consistancy in the officiating in that league. Lots of biased refs with an agenda and a league who is only out for ratings.
The Suns should be commended for playing such inspired ball despite all of the injuries and setbacks. They will win it all next year. Congrats on a great year.

2. I used to be the biggest Suns fan |

My heart would start racing when it was the beginning of the season. I have 14K gold Suns jewelry (Ugh - did I really just admit that?lol) Then came '93. Barkley's time. He was hungry for a championship ring. We went all the way to the finals - against the Bull's and lost the championship in the last seconds.
So what did Colengelo do? Trade this one and that one away. The Suns never were the same. I got tired of watching our players do amazing things while on other teams. I was done.
Yes - I was rooting for them. I was hoping they would pull it off. But watching, I knew they just didn't have what it takes. I'm happy that got as far as they did.
In '93, I would have been devastated.
