Yet, schools can use this form of discipline because there is no law prohibting it. And when no law prohibits something, it is sanctioned.
It doesn't matter to me if school board ban this practice, until it is in law, a school board can change its mind.
DUers in Arizona, please help me end this barbaric practice. As a teacher, I am a mandated reporter for child abuse. I could lose my certification and my license if I do not report child abuse, but corporal punishment used in school is protected.
Inmates don't get beaten for violating rules, neither should children in school
