Herb Paine for Congress Special Update: September 15, 2006

HERB WINS DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY!
Goes up against John Shadegg in November

Herb will face John Shadegg in the General Election, after winning the Democratic primary in Congressional District 3.

While early counts showed a tight margin between Herb and his primary opponent, remaining early ballots and provisional ballots have been counted and Herb will be the official winner.

The campaign is now in full gear, aiming for a November victory!

To achieve our goal of returning accountability, integrity, and balance to Congress - of putting Herb in the U.S. House of Representatives - the most important thing that you can do right now is to contribute what you can.

Click here to donate via secure server now.

We fully expect Shadegg to outspend us. As Herb has stated, "John Shadegg's close ties to deep pocketed lobbyists and Washington insiders guarantees him a political blank check. But the question is whether voters want more of the same or if they want fundamental change. That is what this election is about." And that is why we need you now and in the coming days to drive this campaign to victory!

We thank all of you, our supporters, for your continued dedication to this campaign. Your loyalty and spirit have made this campaign even stronger!

1. It should never have been this close. If anyone didn't like the feeling of
losing on Tuesday, I suggest you get your buns in gear and do everything possible to elect Herb.Does anyone seriously want another term with Shadegg? C'mon people, this is a fight worth winning but it is going to take a LOT of sweat equity, phoning , walking and talking as well as dollars. We need dollars to buy media, and we need media folks. It is obvious not enough people know about Herb.We need to change that, starting now! So hop aboard the campaign train, we are pulling out of the station and heading toward Victory!
