CITY OF PHOENIX VETERANS DAY PARADE
TIME: PARADE BEGINS AT 11AM.
STAGING BETWEEN 9AM AND 10AM.

Come march with the Phoenix Chapter of the Veterans For Peace in the Phoenix Veterans Day Parade. The route will be North on 7th Street at the VA Center, West on Camelback Rd to Central and then North to North Phoenix Baptist Church.

Park your car at the North Phoenix Baptist Church (corner of Bethany Homes Rd. and Central Ave.) and catch the shuttle to our staging area. The parade will end at the parking lot so you will be close to your car when you finish. We will have a representative from Veterans For Peace in the parking lot to help direct you. Look for our banner. Please try and be at the staging area before 10:30. If you wish to you can wait along the parade route and join us as we pass by. You are also invited to support us by bringing your signs of protest against the war and stand at the corner of Camelback and Central.

We are entry number 91 this year. Be patient as we will be near the end of the parade.

Be sure to bring water and snacks if you need them.


Fund Raiser for our program "About Face":

Come join the Phoenix Chapter of the Veterans For Peace and 1480AM Air America Phoenix for a fund raiser on Sunday 12 November 2006 at the Paper Heart Gallery and Bar.

Time is 3PM til 7PM.
Location is 750 W. Grand Ave. Phoenix 85007.

Donations at the door.
There will be live music, food, an art venue, and a silent auction. Come and join in the fun!

Purpose is to support our program "About Face".
