Dear Friend,
Over the past two weeks, Congressman Shadegg has been up to his same old tricks. He voted against a ban on gasoline price gouging and against an ethics reform bill that would impose stricter rules on lobbyists and lawmakers. Once again he is siding with special interests instead of the people of Arizona’s 3rd Congressional District.
According to publicly available Federal Election Commission reporting, Shadegg has taken hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from the oil and gas industries and other special interests. The fact that he is beholden to these groups and not his constituents is a big part of why I am running for Congress. I need your help now to send the message that this behavior will no longer be tolerated.
With your help we can restore integrity to Arizona’s 3rd Congressional District. We can give Arizonans a representative in Washington who is committed to them and not to big oil and other special interests. Please help me with my efforts by contributing today.
We only have 27 days to go until the end of this fundraising quarter! Because it is so critical that I hit my fundraising goals, I must ask each of you to dig as deep as you can. Please consider giving $50, $100, $250, $1,000 or more to my effort to unseat a man who is entirely disconnected from the needs of the constituents of the 3rd Congressional District.
Several amazing donors have stepped forward and agreed to match every dollar that we raise through this email up to $10,000! Help me capitalize on this opportunity today by contributing now! So, if you haven’t yet contributed, then now is the time. If you were waiting for the right time to contribute again, here’s your chance!
Make sure to keep checking our website for the latest campaign updates and to support my campaign.
Best,
