Undercover officer's car rammed, causing fatal accident

An undocumented immigrant rammed into the car of an undercover narcotics officer Tuesday night, causing an accident that left a Phoenix woman dead, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.

1. his illegal status did not cause her to crash into the car. it's a tragedy, but don't conflate it by

connecting different issues.

A citizen in the same situation would have the spotlight shone more directly on substance abuse, since the guy had been throwing beer bottles out of his window and there was some cocaine found in his car.

What if the crash was caused by a high school student-- I doubt you'd blame it on No Child Left Behind.

It's tragic, but turning it into an illegal immigration question is absurd, and disgusting.

I know that many citizens don't have them either, but you know that an illegal doesn't. Do you ever wonder why our car insurance rates in Arizona are among the highest in the country?

And you know, if we had a guest worker program of any kind, illegal immigrants could get a provisionary driver's license and also pay insurance.
