A Bob Lord Letter/email

Dear Friend,

We continue to get great coverage from local and national press. Just this morning the East Valley Tribune wrote, “In the 3rd District, Republican Rep. John Shadegg is facing his first serious threat in years from Democratic challenger Bob Lord. The challenger is well-funded and well-connected.” To read the rest of this article click here.

Also, in discussing the Republicans’ inability to recruit viable candidates in many of the nation’s most competitive races, The Hill mentions Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chairman Chris Van Hollen’s list of competitive Democratic challengers. The Hill stated, “Van Hollen’s list includes some districts Democrats have not competed in for years, including Rep. John Shadegg’s…” Click here to read the article in its entirety.

All of this is very exciting news for our campaign! We are generating buzz all across the state as well as on a national level. I want to thank you all for your overwhelming support of this campaign. None of this would be happening without your help!

PS – We are still looking for volunteers to host house parties for us all across the district. Please email me at info@lord2008.com and sign up today!

AND

Dear Friend,

While I was in Washington DC last week, our race got a lot of attention from the local and national press. I wanted to share with you some of the coverage we received.

The Phoenix Business Journal wrote about the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s ads attacking John Shadegg for his opposition to SCHIP. Click here to read the entire article.

The Arizona Republic published an article about the Democrats fundraising edge over Republicans nationally and how that will help Democrats in Arizona. Click here to read the entire article.

Roll Call, which ranks congressional districts based on their competitiveness, changed its ranking of Arizona’s Third District from “Safe Republican” to “Likely Republican.” This change came three months ahead of our own schedule and it illustrates the exciting momentum of our campaign. Click here to see the rankings.

We have also begun to hold house parties in homes across the district to get the message of this campaign out. If you live in the district, I need you to sign up now to host a house party where I can come meet your friends and neighbors. Please email me at info@lord2008.com to sign up!

Our campaign to take back America is on the move but remember your future voice in Congress will be determined by the effort you put in now.

Thanks so much for all of your support and enthusiasm.

GO BOB!
