Had lunch with Bob Lord today

Just ran into Bob at lunch and he shared the latest developments on the campaign. Things are really looking up for him right now; he's received lots more support since Shadegg's announcement, both in terms of help and funds. It's not usual to be able to spend an hour one on one with a potential Congressman (especially when you're not a big donor or politically connected--I'm neither), but Bob shared a bunch of ideas and I think he'd make a great representative for the state. He's just a thoughtful guy who cares about people. I'd love to see him join Harry Mitchell and Gabrielle Giffords in Congress; if you haven't already sent in a few dollars for his campaign, please consider doing so. It would be great to replace a very conservative Republican with a can do Democrat.
