I posted this in the GD, but I'd like to get some feedback from fellow Arizonans....
Around 8 o'clock this evening I was sitting at the light on the I-10 frontage road in downtown Tucson. A large bus (tour-bus size) pulled up next to me. It was all white, with blacked-out windows. Like a prison bus. On its side was printed "Department of Homeland Security" inside a round logo.
As I entered the take-out lane of a Carl's Jr., I was surprised to see the bus following me. It sat idling a few yards away in the parking lot. While waiting for my order I observed four young, short-haired males disembarking from the bus. Two were dressed entirely in white, while the other two wore white tops and loose-fitting, dark-blue or black trousers. They each carried a small, clear plastic bag that appeared to contain clothing. They looked to be in their 20s, and of Latin-American or Middle-Eastern descent. They loitered on the corner for a few minutes, and then walked slowly through the underpass toward downtown Tucson. When I left the lot, the bus was still sitting there idling.
I've tried to think of some totally benign, non-sinister explanation for what I witnessed, but haven't had any luck. Honest, I'm not the tin-foil-hat type. But this continues to give me the creeps.
Any ideas?
