1190 now a religious station?
I know NovaM went under, but I thought Mike Newcomb was going to take it over.

What happened?

I can't live without listening to Stephanie Miller and Thom Hartmann.

1. I'm listening to the station online right now.
Stephanie Miller is on.

For some reason that station on my radio is just static this morning.

2. That's what happened yesterday to me.
I listened in the morning, but when I turned it on around 4, it was just static.

This morning I turned it on, and it was all God all the time.

I'm gonna go crazy without liberal talk on the radio. I listen to the radio when I am out and about.

I'm still not getting anything on the radio but static.

I couldn't stand going without Stephanie and Thom. And I miss Randi too. :(
I sure hope whatever is going on will get staightened out.

5. It's Gone.
I tuned in this morning and 1190 AM is now a spanish station. Also, www.novam.com, www.novamradio.com, www.1190novam.com, www.onsecondthought.net are all showing blank web pages. I must conclude the Liberal Talk Radio in Phoenix is no more.

BTW, according to the Mike Malloy website (www.mikemalloy.com), they're are getting ready to provide podcasts using their own equipment it seems.

:argh:

7. So it does.
But you tune in on a regular radio to 1190 AM and you'll hear Spanish.

I just hope the stream lasts.

:dunce:  :fistbump:

9. It's so depressing
I always listened to Stephanie on my way into work. Now every talk station in the Valley is right wing.

I am going thru withdrawals :(

11. Why not here?
Life in the 5th largest city without progressive radio is KILLING me. I can listen online but that’s not radio and there isn’t any good reason why Phx can’t have a progressive station.
