I'm going to make a dynamic page with all the dumbass quotes from the state GOP, mainly Pearce, Biggs and Kavanagh. So if you have a couple links lying around or if you find some new ones please post them.

John Huppenthal, who I heard is planning to run for SPI, made some remark at the March 4 rally that class size has no impact on quality. I'd like to see him defend that! Here's part of the story from the AZStar and the link:

"Sandwiched between Democratic leaders from the House and Senate, Huppenthal, a wonkish school-choice advocate in favor of deep reforms to public education, was asked if he understood the importance of small class size.

Taking a deep breath, Huppenthal looked up.

"I can sense the assault already," he said.

The Chandler Republican proceeded to question the merits of reducing class size, sparking hissing from the crowd and reigniting a decades-old and unsolved debate.

"I know it's heresy, but that's what they found," Huppenthal contended, citing a government study. "

I'd like to know what government study he's looking at because there are a bazillion studies that say just the opposite.
