I saw it during Meet the Press this morning. Pretty sweet.
A woman says she is fighting cancer but her Congressman John Shadegg wants her to have to fight the insurance companies also. It goes on to urge viewers to let Shadegg know they don't want to fight insurance companies to get care. Awesome!
Of course, Kyl doesn't support reform because he wants to protect his momma:
Sen. Jon Kyl is not fighting the White House's health-care reform plan to damage Barack Obama's presidency. He says he's doing it for his mom.
"I hate questions like that, because it's not a matter of politics. To me, the important thing is stopping legislation that would be very bad for the country and trying to promote alternatives that are better," Kyl, the Senate's No. 2 GOP leader, said in an interview in his Capitol Hill office. "I'm not trying to stop health-care reform to hurt Obama, I'm trying to stop it to prevent my mother from being hurt when she wants care, because she's 88 years old. By some of these tests, that's too old to get a new hip or whatever else she might need."
