John Dougherty - check this guy out. He is also running for Senate.

He was an investigative journalist. He helped bring down the Keating 5, and has done alot of expose's on Arpaio.

He seems to have what it takes to not be afraid to take on McCain and has great progressive ideals.

(I was just watching the Dem debate on Channel 3).

Parra is good too, even more progressive. He just doesn't have good delivery when he speaks.

Wonder why everyone assumes that the Dem candidate is going to be Glassman?

Whoever it is - they have my vote and I will volunteer.

He is not a favorite of many in the Democratic party because he is considered a loose cannon and too egotistical to work with. Once he was scheduled and confirmed to come on a show for an interview, and stood up the show host, when asked about he wouldn't even reply.

Glassman it is. Parra would be another great option if only he was a better public speaker & had better body language.
I liked what he had to say, but his delivery was too weak to take on McCain.
