Let's discuss the 10 Propositions
You know they won't be covered elsewhere and we really need to have some knowledge. I think we can help each other with this.

1. with the exception of 203 I am going to vote
No on all propositions unless I hear a good reason to change my current intention.

3. I'm voting for the medical marijuana prop, but that is it.
They want to take away "Obamacare", the rights of Unions, education, something about minorities. NO NO NO NO NO!

I've been seeing signs all over town saying vote NO on all props. Hopefully people will pay attention.

4. Are secret ballots bad?
I'm not sure. I already drew a line on Yes on Prop 113. I hope I didn't make a mistake. :scared:

5. yes it is a mistake and here is why
Edited on Tue Oct-12-10 10:12 AM by SargeUNN
it is a false issue. It is aimed at unions and such groups that allows the management to force union and groups members to be pressured into voting their way. It is being sold as pro-union but it is very anti-union. You can correct it though if you return the ballot marking the block on the envolpe that says check box if enclosed ballot is spoiled and you request a second one.

6. Ok
That does confuse because you'd (or at least I though) think a secret (as opposed to open) ballot would limit that kind of pressure because they can't see the individual results.

I'm aware of that box thing but hopefully it would come back in time to vote on time. I'd hate to discard a ballot over a single vote but I probably made a horrible mistake.

8. There is currently no text in this page.
Thanks anyways. Don't worry, I trust you. I'll send back the ballot today to get another one but I gotta write down who I voted for, especially on the judges side of the ballot.

9. Judges is a vote I never know how to vote
Jeff Farias told me the way he does is if he doesn't know of the name he just votes no on them. I think I asked when doing my KPHX show about getting them on and I was told they couldn't campaign for the position, which makes no sense at all. I hope that isn't true but if it is something needs to change there.

10. I used this
http://www.azjudges.info/reports/court.cfm?court=maricopa Far from perfect but the best thing I can find about these judges. I go over to the detailed reports and if they were below 3 average in legal ability and integrity(which covers fairness to race, gender, orientation, etc.) I voted no. Some were borderline, iffy, or had good marks in legal ability but poor marks in fairness(vice versa). I'm not sure how I voted on those judges but it was case-by-case basis. The AZ Supreme Court, Rebecca White Berch I didn't vote for because of the simple fact former Governor Jane Hull is the one that appointed her.

17. Try This
It's a conservative site, but it ranks them pretty clearly, just vote opposite of what they say.

11. I'm thinking Prop 111 might not be a bad thing
To turn Secretary of State to LT. Governor. In the case of Obama choosing Napolitano, we got someone from another party to take over in the case of Brewer.

13. here is my thinking on it
The prop. would just change the name of sec. of state to Lt. Gov. and therefore would leave us without a sec. of state. I think either establish the office or keep things the way they are since the change is purely just a name change and not really creating what I think is really needed.

15. It is a Russell Pearce bill
It is an attempt to sell off state trust, lands and such without bids. It is clearly a horrible prop. and should be an outrage to all.

16. I was told that KPHX broadcast to vote yes on all
I didn't hear it, but the day that was mentioned I heard enough to know that Martin Grant and Eric were on and not Newcomb. I certainly think it is bad advice and shows poor research.
