Drinking Liberally Tucson 11/06 Dia de los Muertos

This coming Sunday we'll either participating or watching (at The Shanty) the "All Souls Procession". We'll be honoring our ancestors and loved ones who passed on.
There is an urn, the very first thing in the procession, where you can drop prayers forms http://www.allsoulsprocession.org/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/prayerform.... to be burned and released during the finale ritual. We'll be remembering and celebrating our friend GABE ZIMMERMAN and all the others who lost their lives January 8.

2. The parade participants start gathering at 5:00 P.M. Drinking Liberally

usually starts around 6:00 P.M. the actual parade starts at about 6:30 P.M. and will probably take 20 minutes to get to the Shanty but, understand, I was not here last year so it's only my guess. I expect parking will be a bitch unlike most drinking liberally events where I can usually park within a block of the Shanty.
