Happy Anniversay!
I've lived here 17 years. I have plenty of suggestions. Are you outdoorsy? Art lovers? Foodies? Crystal huggers?
Hopefully you're not looking for nightlife! We roll up the sidewalks around here about 8PM!
By all means visit the Christmas light show, every night at Los Abrigados Resort. Do the Pink Jeeps Broken Arrow ride for a white knuckle
fun roller coaster type ride, the ancient ruin ride is a bit more cerebral and will take you 8000 year old cliff dwellings. Take the last tour of the day for crazy beautiful sunsets.
(all other jeep tours pale in comparison, its worth the extra few bucks). Montazumas Castle is a great cliff dwelling you can drive to yourself.
A drive through Oak Creek Canyon and a visit to Red Rock Croossing are must see.
If you haven't seen the Grand Canyon it is only two hours north. Its spectacular and not crowded in winter.
A visit to Jerome is always a blast and they actually have a bit of night life....Visit the Spirit Room there.
Bring warm clothing, hats, gloves, scarves, we are anywhere from 20-50 degrees colder than the Phoenix area and there is a good chance of snow any time in December. Its guaranteed in Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon.
Yeah I really get to live here.....awesome isn't it? If you decide to stay, I'm a Realtor! :hi:
