As part of the national demand for local newspaper and TV stations to cover the Downing Street memo, we are holding this rally in solidarity with John Conyers and his brave stand for truth justice and the American way.

This is from another area peace group that has already protested NBC a couple weekends ago and are doing it again for the lunch crowd.

CBS News showed up after almost everbody left! They didn't show any of the interviews (or DSM news) tonight.

27. I've been working in Whittier, and I have no computer at work!!!!

I would have joined you if I knew. But what a sight to see when I pulled off the 101!

After an hour on the 605, the 60, and the 101, the best I could muster was a honk of the horn on the Impala (the silver one with Democratic Blair Hull and Barack Obama bumper stickers).

I didn't even know what the protest was for until I saw the last sign as I passed the crowd! I was listening to Randi Rhodes at the time, dead tired from work, but it was cool as hell to see all the folks out on Sunset!

Keep fighting the good fight! Give me some more notice next time and I'm there!
