Local Air America programming--Christine Craft on 1240 AM in Sacto?

KSQR 1240 AM in Sacramento, the local Air America affiliate, is running a curious commercial:

A woman says (roughly), "I don't know if Air America knows what they're getting into. The last time I was on the radio in Sacramento, my station was afraid of me--and I didn't always have the nicest things to say about conservatives. If anything, I'm bolder and more fearless than ever before. Join me, starting June 9th, from 4 to 5 every afternoon!"

So, the commercial does NOT identify who is even speaking, which is really strange! I can only assume it's Christine Craft, who was once on local Clear Channel 1530 AM, at one time opposite Rush Limbaugh when he was locally based.

I think it's interesting that the station is getting locally-based, progressive programming. Are you familiar with other local Air America-produced programming?

Now the commercial is prefaced with "I'm Christine Craft," so I was right. She adds that she will tackle issues no one else locally will go near.

I have listened to her a few times. I like her, I don't always agree with her, but I like her. I will have to check out her new show.

around the turn of the century. I heard her a few times. Ok , i guess, disagreed with her a bit but in those days any liberal was ok.

4. They're putting Christine Craft on Air America??????????

She's a democrat but she's more moderate, yea, even conservative about many things. I have enjoyed her on a couple of occassions when she spewed ugly about Ah nold but other than that, she's kind of a kook. She's been leaning further and further to the right lately. Kind of argumentative and terse to callers and emailers also.

Not sure about her there. Will have to just wait and see.
BTW, She's also a good friend of Bill fartenwatzit of KGO. Be warned.

6. I've listened to her, and she's pretty centrist.

Not my thing politically, but still she seems pretty smart anyway. The topics are germaine to our interests, but she is not a progressive on many issues. Yesterday, she was preemptively criticizing F911 and talking about how allegedly "leftists revel in bad things happening to the US." A called said, "This is Air America?!" and she replied that she is not affiliated with Air America, but rather with 1240 AM in Sacramento, and that 1240 is independent but happens to carry Air America programs...
