Duncan Hunter's office just hung up on me!

I called to ask if he supported Rove's statement that liberals want the troops to die. She said he didn't!

I asked if he would be willing to actually say this, in public, so we'd know that not all Republicans agree with Rove. She said it's just one person's opinion. I reminded her this person is a member of the Bush administration. She said Hunter is "above all this" and is just working to help the troops, keep them safe, etc.

I asked if they wouldn't be safer here, and she said have a nice day.
