1. Ick! The hottest temp I've been in was in Laughlin - 120 degrees
Damn!! The asphalt was 'bouncy'. Even the river felt hot.

6. ooh, i feel your pain!
the worst heat stroke i ever got was at the colorado river (112), second worst in humboldt county (110). what a horrific memory :-(

3. we keep the house at 80
Pool temp is 91-92
arthritis is a thing of the past, or rather, a thing of Nor Cal. This is a little too much, however. I have been here several years now and up to 100, there are little problems. 110+ gets oppressive, for example;at midnight last night it as at least 92.

7. if you lived in norcal
especially sacramento or parts northward in the summertime, then you KNOW what hot is! i'm in sac and my thermostat stays at a very nice 75 degrees, except at nite, when it goes off. do you like hot weather?

I lived in Sonoma valley, it made 114 one day in 15 years and it always cooled off at night. here it was 92 at 2AM. I do like living in a pair of shorts only, however.
